Ted Smith, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™, started his career in finance in 1999. He conducted independent investment research while gaining experience with three FINRA broker/dealer firms before shifting to the RIA only space. In 2018, he brought fundamentals-based strategies to ABO Research, becoming a Partner in 2022. As Partner, he contributes to strategy development, supports investment committees and provides other client services. His approach to the markets is summed up by one of his favorite quotes: “We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.”
