About Us

In response to the 2008 Great Financial Crisis, Brian Vestal (founder) began developing actively managed ETF strategies that incorporated technical analyses and factor-based methodologies for his clients and firm. Soon after, he began developing equity baskets of individual stocks as the “race to zero” in trading costs was in full swing. In 2015 a third-party advisory firm licensed this research and ABO Research LLC was officially founded.
